EBT SNAP Benefits Freebie

I might not be here today if it weren’t for housing, EBT benefits(formerly known as SNAP) and free school lunches, without those social programs my single mom who still worked her butt off and still couldn’t make ends meat would have been left with two even hungrier kids, and no place to live. 

There was a time as a kid before my mom got those benefits that we lived in a car bouncing from place to place until a friend helped get her into housing and we finally could have a place to call home. So i know what it’s like for school lunch to sometimes be the only meal that day. 

I understand what its like to work your butt off and still not have enough, unfortunately people who have had it too easy can’t relate. This is a full circle moment where although I’m still not completely comfortable and I can barely afford to do this at least I have a roof over my head, food in my belly, and I’m living a life I would have killed for back when I only dreamt of breeding my own creations.
